Plaza_7-21When was the last time you stopped and took a look back at your property, or walked across the street to get a different perspective?  Taking the time to do so can uncover key problem areas or identify missed opportunities. Take a moment to do so and ask yourself the following:

– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –

Can you see past the trees?

Are trees blocking the visibility of the center or possibly blocking key signage? Are there overgrown trees in the parking lot that block retailers and might cause damage?

Would I lease this space?

What is the condition of the vacancies? Are they littered with old signage, illegal banners or even graffiti?

Does the signage help these tenants?

Are you maximizing your monument signage? Does your center demand more or different directional signage?

Could it use some color?

Is your center still vibrant? Does it still have curb appeal to catch the eye of passing traffic? Does it need a fresh coat of paint or the addition of a few flowers?

The above are just a few of the key aspects to note. An experienced property management team is consistently reviewing the appearance and operations of a property. However, never underestimate what you might discover when viewing your property from a new vantage point.
