Montclair Shoppes, a 20,000-square-foot neighborhood center in Montclair, has broken ground and is expected to be open by Fall 2015. This new development project of BOSC Realty Advisors enters the construction phase at 70% pre-leased.
“We’re seeing sub-5% vacancy rates across Greater Los Angeles, especially within established areas,” said Matt Hammond, Coreland Companies Director of Retail Brokerage. “As a result, there is an increased demand for new, quality space. We have been pleased with the leasing activity that Montclair Shoppes has generated just over the last few months.”
Montclair Shoppes is positioned across the street from CostCo and Montclair Plaza. It is an ideal destination for restaurant and service tenants who will benefit from the high traffic count on the I-10 Freeway and Central Avenue.
Recently signed tenants include: Dickey’s BBQ (2,200 sf), Jersey Mike’s (1,200 sf), Fuji Grill (1,400 sf), AT&T (1,500 sf), Nuflex Fitness Fuel & Nutrition (1,200 sf) and Dollar Loan Center (1,500 sf). Previously committed tenants include Starbucks and Original Tommy’s Hamburgers.
