TUSTIN, CA (April 10, 2013) – Coreland Companies brokered a lease with 99¢ Only for 14,226 square feet at Santa Fe Springs Promenade, located off Telegraph Road and Orr and Day Road in Santa Fe Springs, Calif. Coreland ‘s Matt Hammond and Ben Terry represented the landlord, Milan Capital Management, and tenant in the transaction totaling over $2.5 million in lease value.
The new 99¢ Only store will be the retailer’s ninth location to open in Southern California in 2013. It fills a space formerly occupied by a grocery store.
“Alongside its competitors in the market, 99¢ Only continues to be a strong alternative to local supermarkets and drug stores,” said Hammond, Coreland Director of Retail Brokerage. “The Santa Fe Springs Promenade, surrounded by densely populated communities, is an ideal fit as the retailer continues to expand its reach in Southern California.”
Additional tenants at the center include Bank of America, Jack-in-the-Box and Taco Bell. The center currently has shop space from 1,200 square feet available, as well as a 14,400-square-foot sub-anchor and 1,400-square-foot pad. 99¢ Only is expected to open by July.
