Owner-Tenant Negotiations the Focus of Upcoming ACRE Luncheon

ACRE-Logo_ThumbnailLONG BEACH – In the first-ever ‘Developer and Tenant Face Off,’ well-known industry players will battle it out, discussing how they overcame challenges in dealmaking and structured win-win scenarios. The luncheon, hosted by the Association of Corporate Real Estate Executives (ACRE) of Southern California, will take place Tuesday, Nov. 11, at 11:30 a.m. at The Grand Long Beach Events Center.

“Our intent is to give everyone a glimpse of what landlord-tenant negotiations are like in today’s retail environment,” said Coreland Companies Senior Associate Ben Terry, ACRE Board Member and panel co-coordinator. “We are very excited to be featuring a panel of active developers and national retailers that will be sharing a few trade secrets and keys to successful negotiations.”

Panelists include: Kristen Holst, Dick’s Sporting Goods Director of Real Estate; Tom Carpenter, Development and Acquisition Manager at Frontier Real Estate Investments; Jason Askinosie, Development Manager at Dunkin’ Brands; Andy Natker, Executive Vice President at Haagen Company; Gene Detchemendy of Detchemendy Consulting; and Pat Barber Vice President of Real Estate at Smart & Final Stores.
