TUSTIN, CA (November 16, 2004) - Coreland Companies of Tustin, one of the largest real estate service companies based in California, recently named Sharon Shifflett, CPM, to the position of regional real estate manager. Previously, she was a senior property manager for Douglas Emmett in Los Angeles.
 Based in Coreland Companies' Valencia, CA office, Shifflett will be responsible for supervising the real estate management and operational activities of a portfolio consisting primarily of retail and mixed-use properties located throughout North Los Angeles County and Ventura.

 This announcement comes on the heels of Coreland Companies hiring former Madison Marquette Retail Services' General Manager Robyn Ryan as regional real estate manager.  Prior to joining Coreland Companies, Shifflett managed over $51 million in assets including successfully managing a $2 million building renovation and repositioning program for a Douglas Emmett Class A office building in Los Angeles County. Previous to Douglas Emmett, she served as a senior property manager for The Voit Companies, and a property manager/leasing representative for Lowe Enterprises Commercial Group and Kirkelie Developments.

 Shifflet is a member of the Institute of Real Estate Management, the Building Office Management Association and the Encino Chamber of Commerce. She was educated at California State University, Northridge and Los Angeles Pierce College in Real Estate Finance, and holds a Certified Property Manager designation and a California Real Estate Broker's License. She currently resides in Valencia.
